Theresa's patent US8185458, Occupational Therapy and Ergonomic System.

 

Ohio State University's Occupational Therapy Newsletter recognized Theresa's unique patent award on page five.

 

Theresa was also featured in the article, "Patenting On-the-Job Injury Prevention," by the American Occupational Therapy Association's (AOTA) OT PRACTICE magazine.

Theresa and her company were recognized in the article, "Getting Back to Work: Partnerships Between Occupational Therapy Practitioners and Ergonomists," by the American Occupational Therapy Association's (AOTA) OT PRACTICE magazine.

Theresa presented at the June meeting of the Snake River Chapter of the ASSE and discussed her course on Anatomy Applied to Ergonomics and the Understanding of MSDs.  Pages one and three of their July 2014 Newsletter summarize her presentation.

 

In July 2014, Jim Rogers, then director of the Western OSHA Education Center at ASU, announced that Theresa, "one of the foremost experts in the field," would be added to their instructors to develop and teach new ergonomics courses structured to guide "employers on how to identify problems, implement solutions and provide training within their workplaces."  Theresa's Principles of Ergonomics  (OSHA 2255) class is now a required course for ASU's professional certificate program in Occupational Safety and Health.  More information on the class can be found here.
